About RAHicks Improvements
Founded in 2006, RAHicks Improvements is a locally owned and operated Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) based in Lucas, Ohio. As a small operation, we take pride in providing the personal attention, accountability, and craftsmanship that can be difficult to find with larger contractors. Many of the homeowners we have worked with over the years remain customers and friends today—a reflection of the relationships we build and the trust we place at the center of every project.
While Ohio does not maintain a single statewide general contractor license for the type of work we perform, owner Robert maintains a Florida Residential Contractor license, demonstrating that our construction knowledge and qualifications have been tested against the licensing standards of another state. Robert also holds an MBA along with multiple additional degrees, professional certifications, and credentials, bringing both hands-on construction experience and professional business management.
We believe integrity and quality should speak for themselves. We own our construction equipment rather than relying heavily on rentals, allowing us to maintain greater control over our projects, scheduling, and capabilities. RAHicks Improvements is also registered with the federal government to compete for contract awards and is positioned to perform accessibility-related improvements, including work associated with VA accessibility programs and ADA-compliant upgrades.
